The Big Ones That Got Away

A post from Jim M.

In the early 1980's I started gardening. During that time, there was less disease and deer. My best vegetable that
I grow is the zucchini. I used the seed from a plant that grew out of my compose pile many years ago. At first, I
thought it was a pumpkin plant. After checking it a couple days later, I realized it was a zucchini plant! Through the years,
I get different variations by cross pollination and I save the seeds to plant for the next year. This year, I picked 65 - zucchini
and still picking. A couple of years ago, I picked 260 - zucchinis, which was my best year.

I hope you enjoyed my story and picture.

Blessings,

Jim Massack
