Fawcett Fields Opening Day Kids Fishing Event 2026

What a fantastic Opening Day of Trout Season at Fawcett Fields! The weather was great, the stream was in good shape and the fish were biting.

Over 90 kids attended a record turnout.

It was great seeing the smiles on their faces as some caught their first fish and others caught the largest fish of their lives.

Great cooperation with all the good people of Shaler Twp police, parks and administration.
