Topic: Eric will teach you to tie one of his "go-to" streamer patterns.

Eric’s bio: Eric Bailey is a life long resident of southwest Pennsylvania. Eric's journey in the fly fishing world started 35 years ago as a teenager. As his passion turned into an obsession he now spends most of his time either teaching fly fishing, guiding or chasing fish. His main focus these days has been drift boat guiding streamer fishermen for smallmouth bass and trout. Most all of his flies he uses on a regular basis are of his own creation or an improvement of an existing pattern. Eric leads tying programs for Project Healing Waters as well as teaches tying classes at International Angler.


Eric will teach you to tie one of his "go-to" patterns for trout and smallmouth bass as well as give insight on building streamers that swim correctly and how he fish's them. He will supply all of the materials for the fly.

In addition to your standard tools, you will need to include a bodkin, brush, Superglue, UV Resin and UV Light, and a pair of Hair Scissors if you have them. White or chartreuse 6/0 (140) thread will be needed.

We should have a few extra tools and materials for those interested in starting (or continuing) to tie flies, so just show up and learn from the group!
