Christian had quite the day on Elk Creek.
Temperature on Elk was in the thirties, and so was the water temp, 34 degrees. The bite was on in the morning from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, then shut off when the snow thaw came and washed into the water. We caught them mostly on darker #16-#18 nymphs. Great day on the water for JJ and me.

I think that JJ's steelhead is a whole lot bigger than yours, Christian!
